大阪市在住。手描きの線画とPhotoshopで、街の景色や、猫や魚が登場するちょっと不思議な光景を描いている。関西をはじめ、東京、NY の展覧会で作品発表を続け、香港のファッション関連会社に商品のイラストデザインを提供。他T-シャツのデザイン、月刊誌のイラストなど活発にアーティスト活動を展開。

Name: Hiromitsu Sakai


-Biography-
Hiromitsu Sakai was born in Miyazaki ,Japan, and lives in Osaka, Japan. He is a web system creator as well as an illustrator and is member of the Japan Illustrator's Association. In 1978, He started to produce oil paintings and woodcut prints and, since then, has regularly displayed my works in a gallery. From 2007, He started to produce digital illustrations with the themes of birds and other living creatures. At present, He is drawing a bit strange landscape where scenes of town, cat, or fish appears using the technique of coloring hand-drawn line arts at Photoshop. He continues to introduce my work in personal as well as group exhibitions, and engages in artist activities including the design of T-shirts and the illustration of magazines.
