  某大学院で、共感覚を研究されている方からご依頼を頂いて描いたもの。
  痛みに糸の質感を感じたり、味に触覚を感じることもありますが、自分は特に色に対して共感覚を強く感じます。そこでまずは「色の共感覚」にテーマを絞り、様々なモチーフに現実の色を塗ったあと、その上から普段感じている色を彩色して画面を構成しました。少女の後ろに光輪があるのは、常に頭の後ろで感じるような気配がするため。背景が暗闇なのは、暗闇にドットや、幾何学や、カラーフィルムを透かしたように色を感じるためです。
  
  I received a request from an individual researching synesthesia at a certain graduate school to produce something for research materials.( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthe... )Some associate pain with the texture of a thread, others may feel a sense of touch intrude on taste, and as for myself, I strongly feel a sense of synestheisa towards colors.So, firstly I focused the theme on color synesthesia, and after painting real colors on several motifs, I composed the picture by painting colors that one feels normally. The halo behind her relates to the presence that one feels at the back of one’s head. The dark background relates to feeling color like dots, geometric shapes, or color film held up to the light.
